- Hello there, my name is Ebony. Cupcakes and Rainboots is a story about my life as a foodie, a fermentation/food science student, and a farm girl. This is about the foods I eat, recipes I create and the places I see. This is where I write about the food that happens in my life, my journeys, and everyday adventures. Often the recipes are straight made up from scratch - sometimes they might come from a friend, or I might alter another recipe to fit what I have in the cupboard! I like to stick with natural/local/in-season ingredients, vegetarian recipes, and whole foods. Welcome!
